Just chased up Alex, I never had an update today, as promised! I'll give him his dues he promptly replied saying he can't understand why Emma in accounts never contacted me! I'm on it, but I feel it might take a bit longer- please if you have an unpaid invoice from them, pay it, so we can get into production, cheers John

I did suggest a few months ago running an electric pump to help with the boiling in the turbos after shutdown. I know that's normal and the flow is from bottom to top to help the boiled water pull coolant in when it bubbles but having it pumped for a couple of minutes can't hurt. It gained some quite mixed views.
Having recently done a bit of research and looked at the BMW pumps I recon this is the way to go, in place of the belt driven ford pump

Popped in to pro alloy this week to pick up my new goodies, they look awesome, can't wait to get them on! When I get the new rad and header tank on anyone recommend the coolant to use? And how much? While I was there I asked about the pas reservoir, it's very much work in progress, they've got a lot on ATM but they've assured me they want to do it, it's the baffles which is the time consuming bit to get right, I'm chasing up in a few weeks, john

I may have one of the BMW PAS reservoirs for sale that BLU3R fitted. I bought one in the states in the summer. I'm looking to sell my M400 so unlikely to fit it now. I think it was £227 from memory

Response from pro alloy- "I cut that original one open last week to have a look at the filter gauze assembly inside. It will require some further investigation, but I am confident we can replicate the original internals. Shame you can’t get the original guts out of the tank without cutting it in half, otherwise it would be simple! I’ll let you know how we’re getting on" sounding positive, you're updated! john.
