Better made in what way?
Your welcome to come to mine and have a look at the 2 next to each other the Pro Alloy does look a bit agricultural next to a the Pace.

I believe the core that Pace/NMS (http://www.paceproducts.co.uk/) use is a higher spec than the Pro Alloy.
Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of the Pro Alloy products I think they look great one the car but I think it's an inferior product the to PACE/NMS.

The Pro alloy does have thicker core, (note I said thicker not more efficient).
Even if you are running 500BHP on tack days there is very little between them.

So that's £695 for a new Pro Alloy, or £450 for Pace...

I was just about to re-post this, had my piece of paper on lap going through the thread and you beat me to it! thanks. Thought I'd better look at it now before the British GP starts this afternoon then doing it, beer and posting gets a few things mixed up! ;-)

Hi, I've emailed pro alloy and they've said they'd look into fabricating a power steering reservoir! I've managed to sort some pictures for them, once I hear back I'll post any details on here, john

I've had a response from pro-alloy and they're keen to have a look and see what can be done. I live about 25 miles away from them so I've offered to run over in the noble for them to measure up inside and out looking at the baffles inside it etc... I'll keep you all updated as soon as I have any more info, I'm looking at going over mid week, john

Great news john...I prefer round type but have a square one ...could they make one with a bracket to fit all not to fit in round bracket ...if that makes sense

I would be interested in a power steering tank also.. Mine is round, but a universal sounds like the best fit..

I've just decided to have a radiator as well, so that now makes 5. Anyone else for a header tank or oil breather to try and get the 5 item discount? I personally think one more week then that'll be it! I've already contacted pro alloy to go over and pick my bits up next week and while I'm their they are sizing up the PAS reservoir fitted to mine (which is round) in a view of pricing for fabricating, cheers John.

If we can get to 5 for the hardpipe kit I may be tempted - need to do some sums before I can commit mind smile

I've got a situation in that the splitting on my plastic water header tank has now started to leak, and hence requires replacement urgently. My car is booked in for other work on Tuesday, hence I need to jump the gun and order the tank now.

We're up to 4 units on the group-buy, so I phoned ProAlloy to see whether I could order and pay for my unit early, perhaps at the 2 - 4 price point. But was told, no, if I order now my unit won't count towards the group-buy. I don't want to scupper the chances of reaching 5 units but was told even if I pay full price now, that the unit will still not count towards the tally.

So my question is, are we likely to reach 5? What would you do - it makes no difference to the group-buy pricing if there are 3 or 4 units ordered. My car is broken and I need to fix it now.

Just buy a standard Ford part from eBay for about £20. I've said it before but the cost of the PA tank is just pointless when you can replace a failing Ford one with ease and for peanuts.

I'll have a rad if you get to 10. I don't need one but at that price it'll be good to have just in case.

Yes, I am ordering the radiator as a spare as they are a known weak point and mine is 11 years old.Very good value even at the 5+ price in my opinion.

I'm not interested in the power steering reservoir as I bought the other one mentioned whilst I was in the states n holiday. Cost me 229GBP inc postage to AZ
