I'm going to be selling my 3r, not sure now or next spring? Titanium/red 3r 34k miles standard engine, it'll have all the pro alloy bits, cf splitter/diffuser/wing mirror casings etc. paint excellent except a couple of stone chips, what do you guys think it's worth say now or springtime? It's been brilliant done 10k miles in 2 and a bit years. Fancy a db9 convertible next and get some sun on my bald head!
Sadly I also feel that when people look at the Noble the first question they ask is "is it a kit car?".
There is just not enough brand awareness which is great when I was buying my car. Though now I am an owner I want there to be more!
However it doesn't really bother me - I am not looking to sell! But always happy to do something to boost the brand.

£34-£38k depending on condition & history.Personally I don't think it helps when people keep asking what there car is worth on here.
It's worth what you want to ask for it within reason.
If its an unmaintained pile of crap then you can't expect to get top money for it,if it's a nice one it should fetch decent money!
You only have to drive one to know what a special car they are.

Mine's going into storage until around March now when I'll list it for sale. I'll keep the Pistonheads ad up in the mean time. I'm really quite surprised and disappointed, it's such a good car but nobody wants it because it's missing half a litre from the engine. Aside from that it's practically 3R spec and everyone who was at Rockingham knows how fast it is!
So much for my house-purchasing plans! Ah well, I'm certainly not going to sell it for less than it's worth, the right buyer is out there somewhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in standard form a 2.5 is 980 kg 310 bhp = 316 bhp per tonne. 3.0 3r 1080kg 352 bhp = 325 bhp per tonne. This is IF both cars put out factory figures, though I doubt 9 bhp would be that noticeable between the two?! Though I'm biased as I have a 2.5 also.
I think the power figures were not miles off of claimed, but weight wasn't very real.... Have you weighed you 2.5? Im betting its actually close to 1100kgs.Its things like lack of LSD, no air con, less sound deadening etc that led to the sub 1000kgs claim... I personally don't believe they were even close to claimed weight and almost everyone has added the weight back in without realising.
Don't get me wrong, the 3L cars with their 6 speed etc are heavier... I remember Grahams racer M400 was well over 1100kgs when he first started his program of development on the car.
personally i don't think the price differences between the models is justified on their spec or performance... however the M400 IS the top of the range noble (discounting the M600)... like most marques people seek out the top model, not the ones 'nearly' as good or 'modified' to be as good.
