Noble on Wheeler Dealers this Monday
Discussion
I would like to know what went on the engine and what power it ran.
With exhaust an remap on 0.9 bar I would expect around the 370 mark. At about 380 the top inlet manifold is a bit restrictive and a change to the ST200 one is a cheap upgrade. Mine let go at 380 and I think some others also did. In both and I think other cases on the 2.5 it was cylinder 5 that let go.
Would like to know if this adds to that statistic.

Seeing how clean your engine bay was made me realise how untidy mine is so that's on my list for winter.
How does one go about 'cleaning' the engine bay? Mine doesn't look the best - chassis members untidy and the heat wrap peeling. But short of the engine-out and a long process of re-painting the chassis and general cleaning of parts, I don't know how to dress it up. Maybe by taking off the clam, exhaust, intercooler box, inner arches and hard pipes I'd have some access to make cosmetic improvements. But whilst it's all running fine under there, I don't want to waste effort fettling. Same under the front clam.spoed said:

Remember that - I had to wait 6 months for the Africans to do their stuff
Your car wasn't built by Africans. It was built by South Africans. AMG Merc said:

Excellent vid, thanks for the reminder This reminds me of how great the Noble design is.I can't quite reconcile the timing here though. Clearly this was a US promo and the US guys didn't enter the story until a couple of years after ours were produced yet there was a clam marked "US20". Also, at 14m37s they showed a clam number R059 (18 behind mine!) which would have been built 3rd quarter 2003 - so how did we get cars going out the US in 2003?
Thread hijack? Well if shiny engines got in here then yeah!
