Where in Essex do you live? it would be very easy to show you what to do, only issue you will have is when you pull the front off is all the other bits you will want to tidy up while you are there.
Thanks for the offer. Yeah I was thinking about that whilst peering through the grill...

I'm near Chelmsford. Danbury.
I work in Witham so not far away

Not far at all.

Car is going into bespoke on Saturday for its annual service. Not sure when I'll get it back but hopefully by the following weekend...

Thanks mate. I may take you up on that. Do you know where I can find the correct bolts so I'm all prepared?
Strangely enough from the same village as you smile I ordered from ebay, worked out at about £4 for all the bits and bobs, ill look up the details when i get in... I also took this as an oppurtunity to replace the air intake pipes from the scoops, as they wear through on the hard edge they are turned around behind the rad... I also found the PAS cooler lines had split, but you wont be able to see how theyre doing till the clams off.

One thing to bear in mind is when reattatching the aircon rad, (assuming your car has it) is that proalloy use a slightly different fixing method to noble, so be prepared to adjust the top of the aircon rad slightly...

Other than a few hose clips which might need replacing, thats all I can remeber off the top of my head

Oh and dont forget split pins for the clam, theres 4 of them which prevent the clam being removed, so add them to the shopping list tongue out

I havent been able to find the ebay listing for the bolts i used, but if you have a look on there, youll find plenty of suppliers for them, the seller i have used several times before is called "nutz about boltz", Would highly recomend... If its any use, I've got some spare time this coming weekend, let me know if you'd like a hand, or want to come and take a look at one thats been done...

You're a gentleman, sir. I've decided to take the wimps' course of action and have Bespoke do it whilst servicing the car this week. Dropping it off this morning. That way I'll have the car back by the weekend all sorted and I can get on with my annual paint correction and prepare for the spring. Always a pleasure to meet a fellow owner however if you're about...
