Hi

A friend of mine fancies playing with a Noble rear diffuser as he does a lot of GRP work. He wants to build one with fins and extend it etc. Then he can make a mould and they would be a cheap alternative to the carbon diffusers that only seem to be available at £1000 !

So if anyone has a tired old, knackered or broken rear diffuser, please let me know
Thanks
Giles

Its just exploring the options, a grp item would be an inch think, like the original, then add some fins, extend it 2" and then take a mould from it. Then can be reproduced by hand. A guess at the price would be maybe £400

Don't place any orders tho, its all speculation at the moment. We need an old diffuser to play with first & then keep fingers crossed that he doesn't start a new job before he's finished them !!

Mine made in alloy is for sale new at 320 GBP shipping included.

Why made it in carbon? Dogs, cats and mouses love carbon fiber?
I think is useless have a diffuser in carbon fiber and the rest of car and interior in fiberglass.

Who mentioned carbon ? GRP = Fibreglass. That way its more chunky than metal sheet or carbon, you can keep the rear chassis bar concealed, keep the look of the original, but improve it. Also loking at width funnels to reduce pressure and increase downforce. But we're just playing with it at the moment.

Yep - JS have none in stock or in manufacture. Reverie are too expensive in my view.

So what you originally said wasn't quite true, you just don't want to pay the asking price
