Been designing and building a new intake system for my car over the last 4 months, mainly as I think the plastic original is so ugly and its on display on my car... not tested it yet but hope to do so in a month or so.

On paper for a whole heap of reasons it should perform well on my particular engine package due to the cams, turbo, redline etc etc... I had my car on a hub dyno the other week to get an actuator baseline power reading so I can do a direct comparison after its fitted.

However increases in power isn't my main goal, I want DBW and it more efficient.... and if it doesn't work it will go in the bin lol.

Here is the dyno graph of my car on a little under 0.6bar (less most than a standard GT03... this is hub power so reduce about 10bhp for tyre losses, you can add whatever guess you like to get flywheel power.

Notice the 2 'bumps' in the torque curve, the first is the turbo coming in and achieving its actuator boost and levelling out, the second is the cams coming on. I have designed my intake to be optimum a little higher up the rev range to better match my package.

An identical engine spec twin turbo car was on the same dyno after me and we did an actuator pressure 0.9bar run as a comparison and it had the exact same bumps, the first was earlier due to the turbos spooling earlier and took the car to more power (due to the extra boost) the second cam bump was in exactly the same place as mine... was a very interesting comparison.

Green lines are my engine with single turbo actuator 0.6bar
Blue lines are twin turbo car with same engine and actuator 0.9bar
Ignore the black and red lines.

Oh BTW it won't fit any other noble as i designed it to just fit under my clam smile

Andy, have you been able to test the throttle response yet? Should be a little better with the throttle bodies.

That's a lot of work just to look nicer 😀 Looks impressive Andy, however the lovely carbon fibre inlet plenum does look very large !

Im going to run ITB instead of a single throttle body hence the plenum size required is very different.
