Ok, for the Facebook impaired, what do I look for?

I see the noble m10 / m12 / m400 / m600 owners (380 or so in the group) and the noble / rossion owners (35 or so members)

Crikey that's a welcome. No one offered to enter me. Perhaps buy him a drink first?

noble m10 / m12 / m400 / m600 owners

this is the facebook group -- its a great group for general noble chats , pictures , events and advice etc

I will ask the question about non facebook users how they can get the info requested recorded

Hi gents , can anyone advise me if the build number on a 3r is a small round plate on both inside of car wing areas just past hinged door posts . I have R 121 stamped on both plates but the build number isn't wrote into the owners manual so I'm a little confused

Should be on the near side chassis rail under the rear clam, near the coolant expansion tank. If the long number there ends in R121 on your car, that's it.

Thanks for the reply . I haven't checked the chassis as I'd read somewhere that it was on the front door pillar but that must of been for the gto 3 not 3r. Just seems strange why this is the only hand written info not in my owners book as every other bit of info is there .Having now re checked service info it does show vin number ending in 121 so thanks again

Don't use Facebook, but joined a few months ago (under a made up name) to be able to view the noble page. Thought I was going mad as could never find it. Just searched again and I can see the noble rossian one, but the other one never appears in any searche. Any ideas ?

Search Noble M10 owners club should find it but it's a private group so you have to apply to join . If you send me your details I will admit you .

Don't quite understand your comments but the last 2-3 digits of the VIN can also be found located throughout all M12/M400 models on a disc the size of a sixpence ( a British coin in use until 1980 biggrin ). This includes on the face of the forward door panel by the hinges; inside the base of the doors (remove, then pop your head into the speaker cutout, and look down), on the underside of the front spitter, etc. The full VIN is also etched onto the chassis but won't post details here. Ive found my build number is all sorts of places. Removed my rear diffuser for the first time and its written on the inside edge and also scratched into the underside of the Intercooler box :-)

Indeed, this was done to enable our Afrikaan friends to fit matching parts out of the molds wink

Actually, I like the human touch. Much nicer than long lists of EU numbers and icons biggrin

Sorry if I wasn't very clear haha . What I mean is when I check the the service book at the front section it shows all the usual vin numbers , engine numbers etc but where it says build number this is left totally blank. I don't know why this would be so
