Got it. So, just checked my service book and the build no. is handwritten in red biro along with the other details. Its likely that they just forgot to add it or were being lazy (the kettle was probably boiling). The assumption was probably that the last few digits of the VIN is also the build no.

Some Noble trivia - this tag was hanging in my car on delivery. Would have been written and tagged during build in SA. Yes, I keep everything.

I've requested to join the owners club on Facebook several times over the past year. It's never been accepted and ever time I go back to check it just says closed group and I have to request to join again... !? Give up !?

I have just joined (purely to get access to the Noble page) and was accepted but I did put a picture of my car on the profile picture which may of helped? I know someone could copy and paste but it would take a little more effort to do this (and someone might recognize the car as belonging to someone else or an existing member).

Well, assuming they numbered them in build order (never a safe assumption), I hope the tea re-energized them.

I own 078 (nus078)

Impressed you have kept absolutely everything Rob! Mine is a little interesting, 3R, 3R in logbook, (with all the 3R bits, clam, extra soundproofing, AC, leather)but was 5 speed, the number everywhere is 121, can't be R121 as there is already one on the forum, I did hear from Martyn that he remembered trimming mine for the Scottish motor show in 2003, does this make mine some sort of pre-production 3R taken from the GT03 No. 121 build? Any ideas anyone?

Thanks Steve. Perhaps yours arrived during the crossover period then?

Simlarly, and if so, I recall 3-4 3Rs arriving towards the end of the 3R run and they got M400 bits - lucky sods biggrin Think I have a photo of them outsde the old factory. One was LHD, went to Italy intially.

Unfortunately we cannot post the link to the survey on PH as it gets removed, facebook is the only way to get to it at the moment, unless you can message me and i can send it privately.

If you join the Facebook group referenced above, they will be able to provide you with a .pdf copy of the user/build manual. You will need to provide some proof you own one, as there is some sensitive information in it, hence why it's not easily available to anyone on the internet.
