Hi Guys
Lobbing a question over the fence from the TVR forums... Your cars are typically rather higher BHP than TVRs, and as I'm upgrading to a 4.5 engine with ported head, uprated cams and other bits, I was wondering what injectors do you guys recommend, as I'm pretty sure my current injectors for my 4.0L Sagaris engine will not be up to the job.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Simple,

Find an online injector size calculator and plumb in power requirements etc and it should tell you what size you need.

https://fuelinjectorclinic.com/flow-calculator

Fuel pressure is normally std around 3 bar (43.5 psi) but you might need to check what you run.

Also I would run no more than 85% duty

Thanks - great info !
Coming from the world of IT, pretty familiar with not running higher than 85% rule :-)

I have a spare set of original Noble green injectors (tested with Cert.), should you require a set.

Could you post a picture please along with any product/manufacture code... TVR use a Bosch one by default iirc

The standard bosche greens used in the noble would probably seem to suit quite well as they go to 450bhp on ours... however please remember that we are turbocharged and thus run a rising rate fuel pressure, this means as boost goes up so does the pressure feeding the injectors and thus their power capability... you would have to run a much higher static fuel pressure to match our power figures safely which might mean other changes to you fuel system.

Go to Injector Dynamics web site and enter the details of your engine there, that will give you an idea of what CC injector you need.
