Just wondering whilst no one has mentioned water injection?
It Helps reduce petrol temp, which gives gives better detonation. And improves power.
All controlled by the ecu

Hi Steve in my opinion the pro alloy intercooler struggles with over 700 !!!
My last race engine made 678 at the wheels (hub dunno) with a new intercooler , it made 660 at the flywheel before . Only upgrades where injectors and intercooler !!!
Problem with the non pro alloy IC is you can no longer have the filters beside it , as there is no room, and I have no room in my side pods, and I really didn't want them to be behind my head,.
Water injection will also help lower ACT.
So I have a brand new IC the same as Tux if anyone need one?

Hi Sundance, I have got water Meth injection already on mine but only as a safety feature. Its not mapped with it to get more power as I would be fooked if it runs out.
Have you mapped yours for more power using the water meth? if so - did it make much difference?

Its being done at the moment, the ecu switches it on and off, and if it did run out, then the ecu, switches to another map Thats pre set to run without the meth.. I have a knob in the Nob, that allows me to switch between 8 pre set maps. So it wasn't to much work. To set up.
I'm re freshing the engine at the moment, I've run over 600ftlb torque & over 700bhp for 4 years now and the engine has not missed a beat. she uses 1.5 bar boost to get there. Fair play to Skippy atBespoke, and Bourne racing wink

ok, mine is a stand alone unit. unfortunately my ecu is max'd out otherwise id have a separate map for it ,that's a good idea. It would be interesting to see the difference in power with and without on your car.
