What warranty are you offering on the exhaust?
Perhaps longer than the usual one year preiod as it's all SS?

Count me in as well - just make sure I'm not away at my dealers getting the original welded (again).
If I recall Trevor did mention the new exhaust note maybe a tad quieter than the original (but then that might just be because there is no sound of rattling/broken bits )

I had thought it might sould quieter, but until I hear it myself in the flesh, I can't say for sure. It'll definitely sound different......

Am very interested too. Is the price 100% firm yet?

Yellowshed,

Are you still working with Roush?

Martin: Doh! And I wasn't going to mention your (tasteful?) lack of colour-coordination with those new wing mirrors

Mark: yes I'm interested to see one installed. PM me to sort out a date.

Been there and done that too (several times!) -- will try and set something up for a little jaunt through Essex/Suffolk -- sounds like we'll have a few interested parties. I'm sure Greg will come our way too .....

Richard will drop a quick note in here when I've got her back in my hands -- will give everyone a few weeks notice etc.... Watch this space.

Trevor,

i don't think that the wife will actually let me buy a new exhaust when the one on the car is working fine (I might have to "engineer" a failure). What I am interested in is whether the map would need changing to take acount of boost coming in differently given the different diameter of turbo outlet?

I thought it was best to have each side of the exhaust the same length - this is not - any comment?

I'm not sure equal lengths would be a big deal for a turbocharged car?

As washy said, it's not a big deal on a turbo car. Equal length secondaries is good for torque on a V6 but given the turbo damps the pulse tuning to a large extent, it's not usually worth it. Similarly, the manifolds are too short to do any tuning on the Noble. Also, the cams are so mild that there isn't much to gain from pulse tuning. The lengths are much more driven by package and assembly requirements!!

I have spoken to our supplier, and a combination of illness and delivery issues with their suppliers have resulted in the timing slipping a bit. I'm afraid it's going to be another week at least before the production parts are ready. We want them to be right and taking the time now will result in a better product in the end. Please bear with us a little longer.

Also, and I confess it was me that changed the requirements after they had quoted the price , but I wanted to put in cat-replacement pipes (following up from demand at Brands) which has changed the design a little and had a knock-on effect to the timing and cost. Sorry about that . I expect to have a revised price at the end of the week.

Trevor, I had to laugh reading the above as it's the Noble factory line on the M14 launch - verbatim
