There must be a never ending supply of punters with circa £75k burning a hole in there pocket destined to be spent on 'weekend' super cars, as there seems to be a never ending supply of cottage industry sized manufacturers launching new ones, there seems to be a new one launched every week ! Wish there were a few more knocking them out at a 10th of that budget, who buys them all to keep all the manufacturers in buisness ? ...it isnt me

Yes, but how many of the 'cottage industry' manufacturers do you see making more than a one-off prototype? Sure, that's where we're at with the M15 currently (not for long, though) but we have a proven track record, with around 900 cars sold around the world in the last five years. The M15 represents the future of our business, and not a pipe-dream concept.

As for your assertion that sports cars, including hand-built ones made in tiny volumes, should be available for £7,500, I think it's a great idea. Just let Noble, TVR, Lotus et al know how to go about it and we'll see what we can do...

Agreed... the M14 prototype is a very attractively styled car. It looked much better than 90% of the designs coming out of small-volume, exotic car manufacturers. In fact, the car's proportions looked very mature and elegant. You could park it next to an F430 and feel no shame. I cetainly hope much of that is carried over into the M15.

I hope you continue to produce an M12/M400 track-day, giant-killer, too! Having a luxurious GT like the M15 is nice and all, but the M12 is just to brilliant a car to abandon.

Can I ? I do have a few ideas.....and not in the 75.000 bracket !

Wish you guys well, but I believe it's a dangerous price bracket, where a lot of sportdcars, new and used, have, as they say more pedigree than Noble.

I believe your M12 is one of the best sportscar in it's niche market, and for its price, but I'm wondering how many would buy a brand new Noble at 75.000 instead of any other new or used, Ferrari,Lamborghini,Maserati, Porsche,Aston Martin, and the list can continue.

No offense, but I do have a some doubt's on the marketing move, even Farboud, Ascari and a few others are having problems becoming a reality instead of just another concept sportscar.

S'OK Im just another under-payed and bitter design engineer that see cars like this that I will never likely own. I know full well most of them get bought by footballers (and others I feel less deserving than me :P ) and the like that earn more in a week than I earn in a year with no true appreciation for what they are about, they just see a shiney car that goes quick.

It wasnt Noble cars my response was specifically aimed at, I nearly wrote the same reply to that thread about the 'shiney red car' a couple of weeks ago designed by the ex F1 engineers.

Lee Noble, is a top bloke. I saw him at Cov Uni a couple of years ago giving a brief biography. I think hes the guy most auto design engineers would like to be if truth be told, designing, making and actually selling his ideas.

So, about the ideas I have...where do I apply ?

Good thing about footballers is that they PX their motors soon after buying them around the time they realise thay can't drive the things safely

No wing sticking up under the cover - anyway you wouldn't be able to get to the boot/trunk...

Good point, though that picture could be photoshoppery rather than the real deal.

Dry sumped is good news for any future track car with the same drive train, also means the engine will be very low down, good news for handling

Wonder if the gearbox is completely bespoke or based on something else?

Excellent, just thought it may have been bespoke casing, or internals rather than the whole thing.

I look forward to a passenger ride in one

Interesting comment re M15 sitting above 'current' 3R and M400 models. I thought Noble had stopped production of the M12 series cars some time ago?!

Hope the next thing is a revised M12 (mark 2) so I can afford one!
