Although I agree that the lower CofG is useful, I don't think that is too much of an issue, even with the current design.

The key is that the packaging and the durability of the new car will based on lessons learnt from the M12.

The M12 is quite a hard car to work on, mainly due to packaging. I would expect the M15 to be much more straight forward to work on.

micknall, can I (we?) finally have expectations of a racing version of the car for FIA GT2/3 and Le Mans GT classes?

Yep Simon like when your M12 brochure mistakenly specified Xenon headlamp bulbs as standard - (I'm smiling!)!

I was gutted - always wanted those xenons

The brochure actually said Xenon headlamps - not just bulbs. I started a thread on this one a long time ago! The lights are different from the bulbs. Love driving my M12, but at night the lights are terrible. My wife's Lupo has far better (Xenon) lights, and will therefore be quicker on country lanes at night!
Look forward to seeing pictures of the M15 - never sure about the styling of the M14. Will it actually appear though? Have got tired of announcements about cars that have not appeared - witness several convertible prototypes with only one turbo (the last one looked like a pick up truck). Those of you putting down deposits must be equally confused.
I always regret not ordering the M400 instead of my 3R - at the time it was billed as an out and out track car, but in the end it turned out to be just as good as the 3R on the road, if not better. Hope not to see the dramatic price swings that we saw 2 years ago, and hope that pre delivery inspection has improved.

Geoff,

I had the same light problem, but fixed it by getting the dealer to put in some super bright bulbs (phillips something) and to lift up the beam a bit. Now the lights are fine at night.

Anyone that was in my M400 into McLaren at Brands will be able to tell you that CoG isn't an issue with the M400 (something my passengers were whittering about downchanging without H&T into the turn into Clark Curves and wondering how it all stayed on the black stuff, apparently.....).

The fact that the M15 moves that on means the on-road will certainly benifit.

As I said, my only conundrum now is do I keep the M400 as well as the M15.....

Having now been down the "deposit" route with 6 cars, I can explictly say that I have no 'worries' about the M15.

Compared to Aston Martin (who, it has to be said, treated their AMV8 deposit holders like a pile of poo) Noble's approach to this whole thing has been spot on.

If you didn't put down a deposit then it might seem like a big change, but to me, the treatment given the inital status of the M14 as a work-in-progress design has been exemplary.

Sell the other boring cars (*) you have and just keep the Noble's!!

All you'll need then is one of those elusive M10's!!

No - it's still languishing on the drive (and currently won't start, need to get it down to QS to get that sorted).

Still after that M10, not seen one to buy yet though

With regard to Noble changing direction (and name) with the M15, I can not imagine for one second that depositers(?) are worried...if I was on that lucky list I think I'd be rubbing my hands in glee!

More power...more torque...57% stiffer chassis...same price...

Martin.

Either that or 'vomit green'. What do you think?

But seriously (for a moment!) Noble eventually limited the M12/M400 palette due to issues with "specialist" and Spanish colours so I'm wondering whether they'll do the same with the M15 - in which case a lot of musing on colours here may be academic!
