Amazing to think we now have cars running 650 to 700 reliable , just goes to show the development that has gone on in the last 6 years .

Owned mikes car since 2009 and just found this post from 2006 . Was told it was way ahead of its time when built
Stand to be corrected but thought it was a fairly standard car apart from a lovely rollcage, pedalbox & clever alteration to the chassis to remove the engine.

Seriously i don't think its doable out of a three litre Duratec.
Not for long anyway.
I've run this power for 2 years now and thousands of miles so it does indeed show how far we have moved the game on in recent years smile

+1 this is my 6th year of ownership
And the first time ive managed 1/12 years of total reliability running 700bhb,
Adrian, Why are you convinced it wont last long? Engine wise.
In fact the engine could give more, and still be reliable, with a few extra pounds spent in the right places.

Its an old comment from 2006, 8 years ago!... Adrian was pushing the boundaries of the car and engine way back then, his car was the most powerful road car for years and he had taken it as far as it was thought it could go then smile

Then along come us idiots tongue out

A famous quote comes to mind;

I spent all my money on women, drink, and drugs, I squanderd the rest wink

Sorry to be picky but it was George Best who is reported to have said "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered." - At least it mentions cars!
