Immobiliser problem

How bl99dy frustrating can things get? last week I went to get the misfire sorted out at Noble (300 miles), virtually on the way home my drivers window jammed so today I took it to Nick Whales for them to fix (280 miles).
When I collected the car I discovered that the alarm was malfunctioning, technicians gone home but Lee from the factory was there delivering a new car. He tried to fix it with no success, by adjusting the bootlid sensor and resetting the alarm using the test mode Guess I'll have to take it back again next week.
Symptoms are, when the button of the fob is pressed the first time to set the alarm I just hear the car locking, another press and the lights flash, one beep and seems the car is okay, red light flashes rapidly and doesnt stop, about a minute later the alarm goes off. Anybody had similar experiences?

update on this issue is that after the alarm became faulty I indeed took it back to Nick Whale to be fixed.. they had it for a week and they thought they'd fixed it so you can imagine my dissappointment when it came back from them and it was still faulty..
I took it back to Noble this time and yesterday went down to collect it after it was away for 2 more weeks .. guess what.. its still no f**king good! The immobiliser and alarm wont set.
nice new expensive sump which will be good on track but hey.. whats the f****** point when I cant lock the car.. I cant use it..

Once, again, this item makes me v. uncomforatable being in a position of just about to order a GTO-3R -I'm just waiting now for someone to say "well this is (ANOTHER) rare ocurrence, and that Nobles are fault-free and/or the dealers and factory bend over backwards for their customers, etc., etc. and I may have to consider knutting this screen hard!!!

I can understand your worries - but AFAIK this is the only one that's done this that I've heard of. I obviously feel for Nick, he really seems to be having a bad time, but just one problem in 200 doesn't sound like a large problem.
The alarm system is bought in from a third party - so it seems that Noble have just found a duff one..
