Well 400 BHP from the 2.5 litre could be possible but with the amount of work involved we are talking around 10k. I think the the breath on option of around 350 BHP is significantly cheaper. Noble will be releasing a list of upgrades and cost soon.

stuh said: That would be excellent Guy. Try and find out if we're talking nearer 400, in which case it's a no brainer for me.

Yet to get the final bill, but my "upgrade" cost in the region of £250+VAT as so much other stuff was being done at the same time.

When I pick it up on Saturday and get the final bill (I think I may have got a bit carried away... ) I'll post the details up on the diary page.

Guy

I've had the "stage1" boost increase done but had been advised by JNM that the gearbox and engine internals are now the limiting factor - so i think i'll just wait until the GTC next year and hope that ludiscrous amounts of power will be available by then

Be interested to see the Noble price list though, i've been amazed how relatively cheap the upgrades have been so far....................

What would be the ideal things to upgrade on the car?

Like engine/brakes etc?

For say 10k?

Well I've got all the bits now and done some measuring and it's just about going to fit I think. I need to do some clever cutting etc. I'm going to fit it all together and then someone to weld it all together. I actually only need 7 seam welds done the rest I'm going to clamp together to make fitting easier - they may of course need all welding in the end but I'll see.
My only problem is finding a recomended welder. I used to be able to do it myself but it's been a very long time and I don't have any gear at all. I put a posting in the general group to see if anyone new of some welding services in SW London but no one seems to...
