Delivery times for 3-Rs?

I spoke with John Hammond yesterday and he comfirmed from an e-mail he received from SA that my 3R (Build R35) is due to be sent this week (21).
So 5 weeks for transit time to Barwell should be around end of week 25 (3rd week June). Then what ever time it takes for final assembly. 2 - 4 weeks I guess.

I'm R27 and have been quoted August, but looking at previous threads in this forum I'm thinking it might be July.
Also I've gone for Titanium, so the colour should not delay things.
What delivery have you been quoted by your dealer/factory?
OK, I've been quoted July (already specced/cancelled order - titanium), 3 Septembers (one is #50), one October (#58) and a Nov-Dec (#78)! Remember though that the build numbers are out of sequence so don't assume that one number follows the next consecutively.
BTW - I also heard of a demonstrator coming in 2-3 weeks -must be the first or damn nearly!).
Colour and spec for my 3R (R35 build) is Crystal Topaz pearl colour including painting rear wing, with Black Leather (GP01) interior and perforation Blue Violet (GP40) seat inserts and highlights (hand brake cover, gear lever cover etc). Would quite like oil pressure and oil temperature information, either dial or readout. I will discuss this when the car arrives from SA.
Also speccing 6 speed box and modified sump.
I'm told the first 3R Dealer cars are due to factory anytime now, then to the Dealers sometime in June.
Just spoken with Robbie Head (Ex rally car National Champion and C4 presenter) who tells me they have just done a feature with Auto Express magazine using the top 20 exotic sports cars driven around Anglesey. He drove a Noble for the first time and was blown away by the performance, handling and brakes. The feature is due for print in a couple of weeks.
Also speccing 6 speed box and modified sump.

Sounds v. nice - I bet you're getting somewhat fidgetty!
How do you propose to deal with the lack of an oil temp and/or pressure guauge/warning - via the factory or elsewhere?
Did they ask any more £ for painting the wing?
BTW - have seen an M12 WITHOUT the rear wing (green one - (is/was?) in Mole Valley recently) - made the lines look nice and clean - although I do realise the necessity of the rear wing!

I hope that the factory can accommodate the oil pressure / temp gauge. Not quite sure where on the dash or console it could be fitted though. If not, an LED readout out would do. I know when I originally specc'd the car Lee was looking at how to provide this information.
The painted rear wing is a factory option on the 3R, you can have the wing painted in your car colour or standard carbon at no extra cost. Because I wanted a non standard paint, I was quoted £1,500 for the pearl paint. I really think it will be worth it.

Just got an email from the factory - my car IS ON THE BOAT AT THE MOMENT! Makes me want to swim out and see it.
Should be arriving in UK mid June, delivery late July/early August.
As many here, went for 6-speed and TD-sump. Anyone heard more about the bhp upgrade for the 3R? Prices/output?

I think the rear wing on the M12 looks the business and gives a statement about the car. I know there are many who are not so sure, or even don't like it. My girlfriend hates the rear wing on the car and thinks the GTC looks great without it.
May be an alternative would be the 2 small wingletts similar to the Zonda ?

I'm the worlds biggest hater of riced-up cars, but given the right application, I think they look great. In my mind the wing on the M12 looks fantastic, and fits in with the style of the car (Not like a Honda Civic with a Supra spoiler stuck on the rear hatch). It also looks like it serves a purpose (although I did read somewhere that it doesn't really do anything!).
They still have that green wingless one at MV, and in short, I wouldnt get the car without it.
The air pressure going over the wing needs to generate enough force to compress the suspension and tyres and consequently increase the grip. Therefore the wing will only really come in to play at high speed when the wind speed increases. In theory anyway!
Can anyone get us a photo of this green wingless M12 at MV for me?

It also needs to have a decent 'angle of attack' to be effective, which the Noble doesn't look like it has. It may reduce lift rather than provide downforce??
I might be down at Mole Valley again this weekend, if so I will take my digi cam along and take a picture of the green car.
I "inadvertently" lost the wing of my car a few months ago 
Having driven several hundred wingless miles i can say that for day to day driving and up to to about 125mph i didn't notice any difference. I didn't get to drive on track without so so can't comment on what difference it would make there.......
I also prefer the cars looks without the wing, a la GTC. HR Owen had such a demo car about 2 years ago and it looked superb.
