Friend has just bought a 3R and wants the same rear lights as mine, though I'm unsure where they came from. My car has Vegantune stickers and door seal plates. But he tells me Vegantune don't make them. Any ideas where he could get a pair? Obviously these are not the Mondeo standard lights.

We'll need a photo or a clue - there a couple of types apart from stock. AMG Merc said:

The mechanic I use showed me a picture of some Mk1 Mondeo lights which he can order. They are the same perimeter as the standard naff ones on the 3R but have clear lenses with cupped circular bits housing the bulbs inside (I'm describing 'cos I don't have a picture). They look a bit chav but he assured me that he could smoke the lenses out and they'd look awesome.
I'll have made a decision by the time my next service is due on whether or not to go for them. He reckons £185 for the lights fitted and to smoke them £50.

I doubt they will fit. The Mondeo 4-door lights come in an aftermarket bling but version but they will not fit the Noble. You need 5-door the hatch Mondeo fitting but they never made any of these. I think I've got that the right way around but, in any case, whatever you're being offered will not fit a Noble without mods - AFAIR.I'll have made a decision by the time my next service is due on whether or not to go for them. If five door lights are bought they won't need modifying to fit the holes they'll need a blow torch

Are these the ones you are after?
If there were enough people wanting them i'm sure you could get a company to make them! I was taking to Adrian the other day and he said there is a light making company in Harlow where we live; i could find out if people are interested? I'm guessing you'd need at least 10 sets to be made?

Rob you are correct, it is the other way around the four door are the correct lights but they are not available in a blingtastic aftermarket version.

Thanks Tony, I suspected I had that one reverso-ed! If five door lights are bought they won't need modifying to fit the holes they'll need a blow torch
