Route After Brunters

What's likely to be the format for the route after Brunters?
i.e. Will it be a case of follow the person in front and hope not to get separated driving or will route details be available before Sunday so we can print maps if wanted (needed)?
I know it's old fashioned, but some of us haven't yet moved into this century and don't have sat-nav... smile

I'm just going to have the window down and follow the smell of burnt fuel.

Bondy

I suppose all we need is the the post code of the pub, then if we get lost we know where have to end up.

I spent Sunday afternoon recce'ing a route from Brunters, to Oakham, and then onto a pub at Melton Mowbray.

Saucyboy has all of the details, directions, postcodes the lot.

sorry for the late reply fellas, V busy day at work!!

Mike, i have just checked my mail and i don't have anything there. Someone else recently said they had sent me something and it didn't arrive, pants i obviously have a problem with my server.

mate I will send you a quick mail, if poss can you reply and attach the details. if it wont work i will give you a call tomorrow night if thats okay.

Once i have the details I will speak to Matt re how long we will be at Brunters and then print off the route details for everyone and supply them with copies on the day. If all else fails just follow the smell of fuel like Bondy said, especially as mine is well rich at the mo.

Just solved the mystery email situation. I found Mikes email in my bulk box online, wahoo. I think you sent it from your work email mate and the filter chucked it out.

Thank for all the help again mate. i haven't looked at it yet but should get a chance tomorrow evening or defo Fri evening and Sat day if work is busy tomorrow which is more than likely.

Once I have set it out I will run it passed Matt and print the details off. Depending on the time i have spare i may get a chance to email everyone in advance.

Sure, no worries. If you're busy and anyone wants a copy of what i sent you in advance, drop me a line via e.mail, I'll forward it on to anyone who wants a gander direct? At least people can give it the once over and decide whether they want to go that way at all beforehand?

Marin,

You sure you want to make the route quite so public?

Just a thought.

Fella's just had a quick word with Matt and he advised against eating in AOC or that area. I'm going to ring him over the next couple of days when i have a map to get some ideas of places to eat etc. I think most of that route will remain but the end location will change. Is that okay with everyone else??

Perhaps the best thing for me to do is have a couple of options for the day and let you all choose when we are at Brunters.

It looks like when we meet up we will all congregate outsider the front of a hanger for a chat etc. Then for those who want to we can have a couple of laps of the track before going off on a hoon. With the amount of interest on here and others that may join it looking to be a good day out!!

Maybe best to look for something like a beefeater or harvester. Having 20 odd people and going to a country pub will probably not work (look what happened on the washed out meet, if we had all made it to the right pub half wouldn't have eaten).

And I like me food
