as ive said before i do have 2 sets of the american rear lights same as the hyundia sonata.my car is for sale and really dont want to do the mod till i am settled with another noble.ive had a word with my fibreglass guy and the outcome is no problem apart from a little cutting of the clam.i already have a few sets of the backcovers ready to fit.we estimate 2 days off and on to complete including painting.

The replacement lights I've got planned would be a straight replacement, (as long as the new light units fit the depth the old units will leave once removed), so no body work required....hopefully!!!!....money saved....£150-£200. Like Artie I've gone for the side scoops (no mesh though??)paid around £82 then around £65 to spray. I suspect Neil could copy these, would we be treading on Noble's toes if we had a look at what we could get Neil to manufacture them for if we had enough interest????. The rear lights on the new M600, are they two light clusters or three. The proto-type car seems to have three, the finished artical two, is this correct??. If it is two, its this style I would try to match.

Artie.
My rear clam will need re-painting after some intercooler mod work I've had done by our fibreglass guy (Who no doubt like your fibreglass guy, isn't made of fibreglass).
If you want me to drop a set into my rear clam, I can get that done with o problem

I don't mind either way as I already have the "decent" aftermarket lights?

So far we have for Neil to look into this coming Saturday,

1)Rear led light fittings, grp or carbon-fibre
2)Rear deffussers
3)Front racing splitter grp or carbon-fibre
4)Side scoops as above
5)Rear wing as above

If there is anything else we could/should be looking at, ideas or pictures, please list.

Cheers

Dropped down to www.adrenalinemotorsport.co.uk (featured in the same Autocar edition as the new Noble M600, few pages away) today to see about the rear lights etc etc. The lights can be on budget full LED or part LED, can be GRP or Carbon Fiber. Tom did a quick CAD drawing for me while sat in their office just to give us an idea.

The cost is simple…the more people we can sign up the cheaper the cost. The making of the molding is quite expensive so we would need to-do a run of at least 14 pairs, same goes for the other parts. I feel the things we could justify would be the lights, rear diffusers small front splitter and possible the side scoops.

It just so happens that the company is relocating to new premises very soon so wouldn’t be able to give prices on the parts other than the lights until they have settled into the new building. Hoping to have an idea on price for lights very soon.

This is the first idea on the drawing, this shows, LED brake (can be made to flash when braking….Ford GT style) normal side light, indicator, reverse, fog and reflector. As I said this can be made full LED but is around £90 per pair more expensive………..what do you all think???

Sod it!! after all that I can't upload. Its on a PDF file, any ideas how I upload one of these please silly

I would definately be up for some the rear lights and possibly some of the other bits you are looking into, like the idea of the lights flashing like the ford gt it will be like a mini disco for anyone following!!!

Hello, I am reading this with interest as I have the same rear lights on my Marcos and would be very interested to see what these new lights would look like and the cost? There are also a few owners who have broken Marcos afterburner lights and are looking for an alternative. I recall a separate thread here where a load of people expressed interest in replacement lights from the Marcos receivers but it came to nothing...

Or, open it in acrobat, get it so you can see the whole design.

Hit CTRL-ALT-PrintScrn, open Paint, hit paste, and then save as a JPG onto your PC.

Then use the PH picture upload thingy on that file.

Thanks for the help guys, ok this is the first drawing as I've said, just a quick drawing. Note that these lights unlike Moblemods will have built in fog and reverse (both sides the same, this is another saving over the old lights, and is alot smarter) The finish will be black, the same as the rear black section on the Noble. I have also posted a thread on the Marcos forum, but it seems a little dead??... Anyway, what do you think, I feel its close to the finished item:

We have (as standard and from left hand side) outer ring- brake LED, inner- indicator, lower- reverse, upper outer ring- refector, inner- side-light, lower- fog.
