I've never ran a Noble dry. But a certain car magazine who shall remain nameless, attempted to max a GTO-3R on the banking at Millbrook while it was running on fumes. Needless to say, they melted the engine!

What happens in a case like this (apart from pistons flying in places they shouldn't and oil coating everything in the engine bay)?
If the car was on loan from Noble, who is liable to pay for the new engine? Is it down to the borrower's insurance?
