Seem to be enough dials - second large console dial is hidden behind the steering wheel.

The black dials look pretty good. Also, is that some kind of marble effect on the centre tunnel?

I like it. Especially around the main dash area it looks less plastic, more tactile (perhaps it's just picture quality though).

Looks to me like the dash out of the 2.5L GTO! It has the black dials like some early models and the silver bezels are on the heat/air vents. To me the center tunnel looks to be standard. I think the marble effect is simply reflections of the shift knob as well as the switch gear.

Looks like dash on original 2.5L.

That'll be the dash on the first 2.5l's.... It looks strange as it has the "original" flock effect paint on it which removes almost all shadows - hence unless you look close you can't see the "humps" on the top of the dash where the dials are.

Apparently all dashes were meant to come out like that but the final paint used gave the soft rubbery effect rather than the flock (ala Elise dash) effect.

Thanks all - I like the black dials - I wonder if the night time illumination is any better than on the current gauges?!

Mine seem perfectly good at night. Any particular one you can't see?

Isn't a little dial to turn to adjust the brightness is there? (only trying to help - not being rude before anyone has a go)

No way. Those little adjusters add far too much weight.

Nope, they're still the crappy CAi ones (spot the oval logo at the bottom of the boost gauge...)
