Cheers Mike, the V storm is a much better and cheaper alternative to the Atom imo, also good to meet and discuss cars with N2H, Devil and Andy Gtt.

Very impressive, as said there are a few bits and bobs to sort out but as it stands...absolutely awsome, cant imagine what it would be like with more horses
Many thanks for today Mike and crew,

The car was far better than I expected, it looked really well put together and not just an Atom copy. Looks like a real bargain!

We had a 3.5 hour journey to get there for a 5 minute ride. Thanks guys for hanging around for us, much appreciated.

But it was worth it. Seriously! The four of us giggled all the way home and for some time after.

The acceleration was savage with only 230 bhp and three-up. I'm sure part of that was the open air rushing past and the incredible view of the tarmac a few inches below you. Oh and I've discovered a potential replacement for "grin factor" (10 in this case) .. You know a car is properly quick when you burst a blood vessel in your hand without noticing because you're gripping so hard!

Once the tyres had some heat in them the front end was properly nailed down with very little understeer and this particular car was set up for controlable oversteer, which it had available at will.

One of the friends is a biker (R1 etc.) and he was properly blown away by the experience.

Build quality was excellent as was the choice of components.

Next steps. Well I've only ever bought one car (well two if you include my replacement Nob .. did I mention I'm back?!) without driving it and I think this one must be driven on track to properly explore it. So I'd propose Simon and crew took it to Brunters or somewhere else with lots of run off areas. We'd be happy to pay a reasonable amount Simon (perhaps refundable against a purchase?) for the four of us to do that.

If that works spec it up (you know you're serious when you choose colour schemes in the car on the way home - Flourescent Yellow and Matt Black btw).

And get it built.

Goot to meet a couple of new (to me) Nobility. Thanks to Mike Tuckwood and all at area 52 (they're very serious about their tuning). And Simon & co you've built a beast. Thank you!

Glad everyone seems to have enjoyed the day. smile

We have the car now for the next 3 weeks or so as SDR have asked us to carry out some further development work on the car.

I'll run that suggestion by Simon though Nick, I think it's a great idea.
If he green lights it, I'll notify on here and any other potential participants can maybe get in if thre is room?

Mike
Bright Yellow & Matt black will look Awesome! Have a look at the Renault "Liquid Yellow" as used on the Clio V6
