As I type 34 members have entered the poll.
I find it hard to believe that 9 members have owned their cars from new.
Mine will be 8 on 15th May and I thought I was in a minority.
I think there may be a problem in how the poll question is worded:I find it hard to believe that 9 members have owned their cars from new.

When you think of owners of your car, you tend to think of previous owners ( because that's what it says on your V5 ), so you tend to forget about the fact that you are an owner as well.
For example, if someone asked me "How many owners has your Noble had ?" I'd answer with the number of previous owners ( because it's on the V5 ), i.e. I would not count myself ( but that, of course, would be wrong ).
So, you may find that when people has answered "One" they actually mean "One previous owner".
However, I might be talking like a bell-end.

Dunno Snuffy - I asked "how many owners has your Noble had?" I'd expect you to include yourself. When you think of owners of your car, you tend to think of previous owners ( because that's what it says on your V5 ), so you tend to forget about the fact that you are an owner as well.

Well if you didn't you'd have to have a zero in the poll
has your noble HAD?past tense i.e. ended
so my owned from new car HAS one owner but has not had any yet. If we ever part it will have HAD one and be on its second.
A car in its 3rd ownership has had 2 previous owners but is on its third.
I'd vote zero if I could

That's the same as your age. When you turn 40, you say it's your 40th birthday. Actually, it's the 40th anniversary of your birthday, or you could say it's your 41st birthday, because on your 1st birthday was the day you were born.past tense i.e. ended

So, to avoid any ambiguity or misunderstanding, the question should have been "How many previous owners has your Noble had?" ( and then, clearly, zero is a valid option ).
It just goes to show you the importance of the correct and clear use of language.
