Yes agree Seneca is a great colour and really suits the car especially with BP polished alloys and yellow stitching belts and calipers.
I think Harry Metcalfe got the colour and spec right. I'm not that keen on any of the initial colour palette.
Yes could have been worse although I am not a fan of the first run FE silver on Hs car too much like an 80s Lexus and similar to the Mclaren colour.

The tan is also more like terracotta but looks ok.

As long as H likes it thats all that matters!

Ah, right, I mistakingly thought it might be the pre reg delivery miles ones going through BCA.

I can understand why that colour and mileage didn't get close to £60k, although a best bid of £41k is shockingly low.

Wouldn't Lotus normally be offering these to their dealer network rather than punting them out through BCA? Perhaps Lotus dealers don't have capacity or the desire for more used stock?
It’s on Carwow trade, they had a lot on there but all had at least 1000 miles. Same with the Eletre, lots at them a long way off current retail, guess the Lotus dealer network can only take so many.

Any other colours? Mileage doesn't matter

Another Emira sold for 63 plus fees on motorway. I would guess another none Lotus specialist will be having a quite expensive experiment with that but another nail in the coffin for anyone waiting for prices dropping further. Will be interesting to see how the I4 affects things. I see that in typical lotus fashion deliveries of their most anticipated car of the last 15 years has started with no fanfare just a cancelled order coming for sale at Oakmere.

There remains a 23 plate car with 650 miles on AT at £68500 and another red car listed at £65. I appreciate your comments re realistic profit, but laying out over £60k to make maybe 4K at best seems bolder than a washing powder.

What colour do you fancy? This one stood out as the most unloved with the lowest trade bid.

These prices not cheap enough for you?

Why do you keep saying there are no cheap cars when evidence proves otherwise?

I think they are aiming for 10 but will probably come away with a fair bit less unless they are lucky!

I felt that yellow 650 miler was tempting. But then I wonder why its only done that mileage over 12 months. For slightly more money one can buy from a dealer and return a lemon, plus px and finance facilities in addition to the consumer rights benefits. To my mind it needs to be a chunk cheaper to find a buyer.

They are all under warranty so really doesn't matter where you buy from at this stage. I suppose with a dealer buy you have a second company to moan at about the problems!

Private car, up for sale since June 2023, with higher miles is advertised at a higher price than an approved used with lower miles and all the benefits of buying from Lotus.

Market has some catching up to do.

That’s nothing to do with the market per se, it’s just certain private individuals feel their car is worth more than the market value. Usually because it’s their own, and therefore they have some emotional connection to it - forgetting that nobody else does.

i4's have now hit UK Dealers so will be interesting to see what effect this has on the 2nd hand market.

I suppose it depends how much of the existing stock they crashed into

It's not just isolated adverts, there are a bunch of private sales priced above lotus approved used cars, I would guess at it being most private ads...

That green Emira privately advertised at £69700 is quite frankly a joke price for a 72 plate with 7.3k miles. silly

I guess private sellers paid for the "hold until sold" listing and are hoping to get lucky. Clearly they don't need to sell and will only do so if they achieve silly money.

Will be interesting to see if the yellow one drops in price as the owner is allegedly moving abroad.

There’s a Dark Verdant car (2023 with 3500 miles) just gone on AT at £66,495. No photos yet so don’t know if it’s sports or touring.

Same rules apply, it’s just more than one person. Motorway and CarWow have hoovered up a lot of the private market, that then leaves us with the individuals who somehow feel their cars are worth more than a dealer can achieve. It’s not just confined to Lotus.
