I dropped my 720S off at a dealer today on sale or return... if it sells an Emira is on my list of things I'd like to have some fun in.
Had enough with B&C?
I’d take it to Silverstone… I’ve got family up in Brackley, so it wouldn’t be a big stretch.

I can only see the one under 60, but definitely big movements downward on price.

Now the question is, will the posters saying I'll buy if it starts with a £5X,XXX now actually buy a car...?
I definitely will.

Yep lots under £60k Lotus approved dealers too.
The sub £60k one is now £71,950 on their website so that was just an error

Another motorway one just went for 65500 with fees. Odd one had the Norfolk prefix but listed as a one owner car. Are they really getting factory cars out using Motorway??

You could opt for factory collection when ordering, so maybe a private car that was collected from Hethel.

Dealers appear to be marking these up at c.71k. So not lots of profit if they have to drop the asking price a couple of k to get them sold.

Too risky for me. I can only imagine the motorway ones are basically being bought for private purchases although the other yellow one did go onto Autotrader. Not an effective use of funds for me when it's similar margin to an Elise.

Just curious, what price Elsie would that be?

Just taken delivery of mine and I have to say I am mightily impressed. Dark Verdant, tan, yellow calipers, Touring suspension. Exactly what I would have ordered, except mine has the gloss black wheels which I would have specified silver had I have ordered new. As it stands now I’m struggling to find fault with it, though it could handle more power.

First time I’ve come across this thread. Interesting as I put a very early deposit down w/ Colchester Lotus - only to have it refunded a few weeks/month or so later - being told the process was being managed by Hethel and I’d now lost my position in the queue. I threw my toys out the pram and didn’t revisit. However, I’ve just sat in one in Green Park and they are rather lovely - proportions sit just right in the flesh. Now rather fancy a used £50-£55k v6 manual for Jan next year as a good value proposition.

Possibly one that's gone back to the factory to be fixed and then offloaded again...

Have they? I thought this was the first one going through BCA?

Yeah, saw a couple that had arrived while at the factory a couple of weeks ago... not sure if they want them back to fix issues or just don't want them being seen to go through BCA (which probably isn't the case now one has)

Very unlikely Lotus are buying cars when they are dumping their staff cars and demos in the trade. More likely BCA Logistics moving them around either new, demo or customer cars.
