Another motorway one just went for 65500 with fees. Odd one had the Norfolk prefix but listed as a one owner car. Are they really getting factory cars out using Motorway??
Will be interesting to see if it actually sold as the seller has it on Autotrader for £72,500.

I find motorway a complete waste of time I have now "won" 7 cars on there and the sellers never complete. Only had one go through!

From a sellers point of view, it feels like a scam. You get a minimum value at the start, then at the end of the auction it just turns out that the winning bid is exactly the same as the minimum value.

For the record I’ve sold both times but it felt a little in favour of the dealers

Ha from our side it's also a scam. They promise you nearly retail so you'll never get the reserve price. I'm some cases you can't bid as you can only bid 15% below the reserve price and sometimes the reserve is 20% over any realistic price. Pretty rare for anything to be trade price especially with specialist cars. None of the punters are even really selling. They should charge 10 quid for listing just to weed out the time wasters.

Carwow is better as they actually speak to the owners to try and drum some common sense into them. Motorway just want the platform filled with cars and they don't care how they do it. Their conversion rate must be under 10%

Back onto the Emira market chat.

Now 90 cars for sale, an increase in cars for sale since the start of the year.

One sixth are priced at £70k or less.

Excluding cars with less than 100 miles (new cars), one quarter of used cars are £70k or less.

Cheapest trade car went through at 56k.

Looks like a good time to buy!

Crikey crikey crikey.....

There are no fewer than 26 Emiras going onto carwows auction tomorrow. All low mileage ones situated in Norfolk. Maybe that sub 60k retail car is coming! Absolutely astonishing way to get rid of stock.

They have been dumping cars on there the last working day of the month for a few months now.

I was reliably informed that less than 50 Eletre have been registered to UK private owners since launch.

That doesn't surprise me. The Emira has a lot of redeeming features and I would love to see it suceed, but the Eletre is an expensive badge engineering exercise.

In an odd way, this stops my habit of changing cars every two minutes. Also the Emira, to me is a fantastic car and I am really enjoying it. Year in now.

Waiting to see if my cheeky bid was accepted on one. To be fair, 73 plate delivery mile cars for just over £60k reserve is not going to do the market much good.

They're not delivering new ones in the UK yet, so there won't be any new ones.

Did it come off that one or are they just kicking the tyres?

I have since been outbid, it was a cheeky bid but clearly not that bad as I was the highest at the auction closed.

They've been delivering for a few weeks now and there were also stock i4's available too with a lead time of 3-4 weeks.
