The leather/alcantara was a no cost option as was coloured stitching (alcantara).
The only extra in terms of alc/leather was the alcantara steering wheel in place of the standard black leather at £400 on the manuals which also included a coloured top marker from memory.
On the FEs all packs (design, convenience and drivers pack) were no cost options as were all available colours and suspension set up/tyre choice. Ditto privacy glass.
Full blackpack (part blackpack standard) and tracker were £1200 and £550 (later cars) options respectively.

To my mind the fact that there are so many i4s for sale is quite worrying for Lotus. The full order book and waiting list seems to have gone up in smoke a little.
Indeed, it is a pain. No doubt just like the V6, people gave up waiting for the i4 and cancelled their order but Lotus kept them in the production run.skeeterm5 said:

Lotus seemed to have released a load of i4s at once for delivery (mine for example) with virtually no notice. So I suspect they got a bunch of cancellations all at once (as I did). So not surprised they have a surplus. This is the peak time for sports car sales.
Lotus are flooding i4's onto the market and prices of the V6's are dropping whilst the numbers for sale increases.
I am sure it will bottom out this Autumn I am just not sure where. At £50k the Emiras look fantastic value compared to Caymans but I think we will have to go to about that point in order to turn this ship around. The dealer network and the quality issues will mean Lotus having to be cheaper than Porsche before the used market wakes up. The discerning enthusiast market just isn't big enough and the waning novelty factor of Emira will drag on used prices.
I like them. I want one. I will probably buy one. But I am glad I didn't buy a new one because sure as hell you can't shift one for much more than £60k in the trade right now and that's after forking out for the all the on road costs of a new car. At three years old they may very well be a massive bargain.

I have driven a friends V6 a few weeks ago and was so so impressed - I think 3 years in will be the optimum time

Retail is at £60k so trade will be below that.Gassing Station | Emira | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
