I agree about the market not being the same, it's certainly not as buoyant as it once recently was. I suspected this, which is why I ended up with top money for the Clio

I'm currently in the market for a V6 FE, seems to be plenty around ~£70k mark - I just missed out on a private seller who sold for £66k (he'd just taken a deposit).

I can't fathom how some dealers have the same spec car with same mileage for £10k+ more than others? ???????

The spread on pricing is just a time lag on price discovery as assets deflate.

The 66k Emira will sell eventually and the new low price will appear higher. However, if demand is unchanged then the prices will drop again if sellers want to sell.

I would be waiting for January/February to buy at early 60s if I wanted one.

I wonder how many considering an Emira may also consider an Elise or Exige? Different types of car but the prices,
Certainly for late Exige are heading towards convergence with Emira.
Could end up like 993 prices vs 996.

9 months old and it’s already had two owners!

And we get to see one of the owners (or at least let’s hope it is) and his knees in those beautifully crafted photographs.

I'm actually tempted here. Should the mileage / owners be a concern do you think? Anything I should be looking out for?

I owned a 410 Exige and have driven an Emira. Completely different cars but if I was concerned about residuals I would buy the Exige……

Wow. £65k asking in mid Nov. With no bites in a few weeks that'll go for £60k.

Mind you just look at the number of 911's piling up on AT for sale.

This market is crashing.

That’s a dodgy set of photos isn’t it? Who expects to sell a car at that price point with photos like that?

How did you manage to find that?!

Assuming the current owner bought at close to asking, that's a 15k hit in not very many months or miles :/

Just googled the reg number... and yep, going by the mileages (The Derby advert had just 300 miles), that's £3.75 per mile in depreciation.

I think it'll find its place and suspect they will sit around early 60's by spring. Still enjoying mine but may go to a 911 as not a bad time to trade up (more expensive not necessarily better).

5 year old tidy 570S's are now selling for £70k.

There's a ton of downwards pressure coming on the Emira market.
