When you see what a Taycan can do on track, it’s still a pretty compelling package.

I for one can’t wait to see the electric Boxster replacement, that’s going to be quite something. I bet the GT3 got a shock seeing it close up behind him!

Pretty impressive. I bet they got through the tyres quite fast!

Would eat tyres but I can vouch for the performance and handling. You make the point about the Boxster, the fact that in a few years every new car will be electric makes all the talk just that, talk. I still have an S63, it’s bombed more than the Taycan and it’s anyone’s guess what it’ll be worth in a few years time, it’s all the same old same old for those of us addicted to cars.

The irony is that both the on-site and local petrol stations had run out of E5 so I probably had more range anxiety on the way home than he did rofl

I have said before, I bought my Taycan Cross Turismo as a daily driver. I have a GT3 to mess about with on track.

I went to the PEC Silverstone for my half day 'intro' more to get an idea of how it all worked and also to get out onto public roads. So the time on their tracks (which I have been on a few times before) was merely going to be a bonus, an aside. I was absolutely knocked out by how well the car worked on track. Not just that it could do it well, but that it was actually fun to drive, that it steered like a 'real' Porsche.
