Not really a kitcar....Build ongoing for the next few years as Im broke ....
But who cares!? That is just fabulous. Like the 6R4 a shape born out of necessity. I hope it comes to fruition.

It was always my intention to share the same spec parts as the MNR/DAX/MKs used, so the car shares the same track as a Ford Escort, but is only slightly longer wheelbase than a stock 126. Still a full 9 inches shorter than a Mini.
Sierra Quaife quickrack, Wilwood M16 front calipers, Protech dampers, CXR 13" wheels, Sierra rear calipers, and so on..
The radiator is from one side pod of an Ultima GTR, as are the front wishbones.

Very nice project..., is the chassis bespoke ?It was always my intention to share the same spec parts as the MNR/DAX/MKs used, so the car shares the same track as a Ford Escort, but is only slightly longer wheelbase than a stock 126. Still a full 9 inches shorter than a Mini.

I feel slightly bad resurrecting this thread;
It had a new one of these;
(1275 overbored to 1330, track cam, stage 3 head, lightweight flywheel, orange diaphragm clutch, 1.75" carb, recon 'box with centre pick up.
And it received new exhaust;
(Which I am looking to replace as the box sits directly under the fuel tank, making it the closest thing to the ground...)

From the Q plate and it being RHD I'm assuming a kit car? It looked absolutely stunning. Am I right? Where can I get one?
There are RHD 356s, just not very many. Only 356 kit I know of was Chesil but I thought they only did speedsters. PGO in France did coupes (sort of) but don't have the good sense not to f@#k with a design classic, culminating in the abomination that is the hemera

Pilgrim did a 356, Covin did one and even Dax (the Dax Californian with blistered arches and martini striping on the demo car IIRC)
There ia a 356A coupe available from Technics in the UK (Martin & Walker)
