I bought this as an unstarted project
Didn't realy know what I had bought or how to go about building it
The Robin Hood owners club were brilliant, it transpires it was a late monocoque S3 which still needed a lot of modification to pass SVA.
I spent 4 years and half of that building outside as I did not have a garage.
There's a lot of trick bits in it although I built it as a sports tourer I felt the style and the way the kit goes together would not work as a track day monster so carpets, comfy seats, a screen and hood have been fitted

Another Exocet owner here. Here's how it currently looks. Just waiting on a date for the IVA.

Locust (plans-built plywood body on a ladder chassis), I think - but only because I checked his profile!

But yes, it's very pretty indeed - the 'traditional' combination of clamshell wings and Brooklands aeroscreens works well, and makes a refreshing change from the carbon-fibre-and-dayglo, cyclewing 'trackday' approach that is in fashion at the moment (not that there's anything wrong with the latter - just nice to see a change, every now and then!).
