Sat 351, where did you get the baby Rocket? Looks awesome and Grandson would LOVE one and Grandad needs a project.

The last one...

That was a westfield widebody with a John Eales prepared 4.6l v8 in it.

The current one (only picked it up at the weekend)...

That's an SSC Stylus with a Mazda 13b turbo rotary engine in it.

I'm afraid I didn't build either.

I have a locost chassis sat in the garage that I built from scratch. It has a dedion rear axle and has been built to take an 2003 R1 engine. The chances of me ever finishing it are pretty remote. No pictures I'm afraid and I have to make the assumption that it's still in the garage under a pile of car/bike bits and a drum kit.

Cheers,

Mark

Are you kidding me!I That's excellent; have you let the mags know? Even if it remains a one off, can't do harm in raising awareness of Eco-exo...

PS what does R stand for? Shouldn't it be S, for Steering wheel?

Nearly there, just really the exhaust to finish (thinking of scrapping my badly made homemade one, and getting one made), then a few iva edges to do and it should be there. Hopefully have it registered by summer (probably be winter!)

Even though I haven't sold the last toy yet I seem to have acquired this. Kept the budget down and went for maximum smiles to ratio. Robin Hood V8 - Buick's finest 215ci (OK yes - it's a Rover P6 lump!) - recently christened the "Flying Froggy" which should be going to LM Classic providing it behaves itself!

it just "turned up" on Thursday - what a fantastic drive back from Frinton. What a laugh!

Yes, that's what I was thinking! Thanks; I'm looking at a respray shortly and I quite fancied metallic green. I was thinking of the Skoda Rallye green of my Fabia vRS, but I could do with something just a touch darker.

I recognise that one! It belonged to Antnicuk on Locostbuilders. He was talking about stripping it and selling parts individually to get more money but I'm glad to see it's still running.
