After 4 years of dithering, I just made a decision on this question. The shortlist was the GD Euro Cobra or the GD T70. The best options in each sector. The T70 clearly wins on handling but always suffered from the need to use a Porsche transaxle with all its shortcomings. The box could be fixed but at big cost with Albins / CMS. Now there is an answer - the new Griffin transaxle. Its made for the LSx, has huge choice of ratios, stock McLoud twin-plate clutch and matching flywheel, no adapters, comes with a shifter. Finally, the problem is solved.
