Nice to see a "complete kit" is now for sale for the beetle rail. Good proposition and a very tempting price. Hope it sells well but I am waiting for details of the "Railaru" before I make firm plans. (and yes you can pinch that name if you hadn't thought of it already :-) )

All the best and keep up the good work.

Hi I sent you a mail about the discovery version for charity use but had problems with my mails but after reading this I'm interested in hearing more about the Scooby version plus vitara version. I only have a standard garage so height is important to me not just for the build but keeping it. Could you give me price details on vitara? And any pics if you have some and a height for it please smile.

And yes all I agree they all look amazing fun

I did reply to your mail chap. Let me know exactly what you want and for what, and max dimensions and I am sure we can build something you can use within your charity ;-) I have the lads just working away on the jaguar based version at the mo. I drive a tuned supercharged XJR as a daily, and am a fan of the jag drivetrain. Lots of horsepower and performance figures get talked about with various cars. Jaguar perform well with massively heavy cars. Prototype is so far 600kgs with straight 6 engine and all single donor so a fast cheap build once we iron out the wrinkles. Any jaf from the XJ40 up to all the x300 and X308 are suitable donors. Power from 211 hp to 375 in standard tune... in 600kgs. Try finding a cheaper donor with the spec of the parts you can harvest from a jag...

Yeah I had your first mail and replied but not sure if you got that smile. It's ok though. I think the best thing if it is ok with you is to arrange to come and see you guys if that would be ok with you?

Not yet! But we are up the the NEC classic motor show this weekend with Rally for Heroes and one of our fully built sandrails which is being donated as a raffle prize. Tickets are still available, a quid a time ;-) Money raised is going to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund.
If any of you go, do swing by and say I, we are there all weekend.
