Apologies if I've missed it but where are the rear lights from?

The rear lights are taken from a Porsche 911 996. The top indicator module has been removed.... Much better :-)

Here is a Bertini GT25 article in the news section from the November issue of KITCAR magazine.

I have had some key rings made. I intend to include a key ring with each kit. I'm a bit of fan of the little details 😃

Crikey, If that's a 3inch bonnet badge, then that's a very big keyring rofl

Was one of these cars at the Exeter Kit Car show a few weeks ago in red primer? Looked interesting and was hoping the paint was primer and in the middle of being built

That was the Tribute Automotive one.

That red one was mine. It is now my daily driver. I hope you liked it, I do.

The wheels are being replaced with black wire wheels at the weekend

The paint is basically primer and was just put on for the show to give a rough idea. I will be getting it sprayed ruby red (slightly darker and more of a claret shade) when the cash fairy next visits

Looking good. Are you going to do it in the same colour as the top car?

Progress is going well with the Bertini GT25. The rear mould is basically finished and there will be a moulding popped out before Christmas.
Then it's just the boot, mini wings and mountings for the front lights :-)

I'm pretty excited. I will post some pictures next week of the front and rear mouldings together. Hopefully fitted to the final car.

With the front mold completed and the first molding made from that mold. We have now moved onto the rear.
This is a progress shot of the construction of the rear mold. It's nice and thick and constructed such that when the moldings are taken from it the one piece rear will include the rear light mountings and the boot lid returns to reuse the existing boot rubbers.
We should have the first molding made from this mold just after Christmas.

Would be interesting to see WCA's "front" with the Bertini "back" - I like the clean chinless look and love the upswept rear

I'm seriously considering buying a Z3 in prep for this being finished.

good plan :-)
I recon there will be some cheap Z3s around in January.
You can spend a bit of time getting used to it and changing suspension & bushes.

Then pop on a shiney new Bertini Kit in May ready for summer :-)

Have you said what sort of figures you will be charging for a kit yet?

This is me officially asking so it's not unwarranted advertising biggrin

sorry i still dont have any exact figures on selling prices.
It is surprisingly hard to set a price.

I can say that I will not be charging too much as i really want people to be able to afford the kits.
But they will be very high quality GRP and include front and rear bonnet badges, BMW size steering wheel badges and wheel badges. I also hope to have options for removing the old panels and building the cars for customers. I really want the cars to look excellent when they are completed so a lot of effort is going into a high quality production car standard body panels and trim.

message me on my Facebook site and i will give you a ball park figure.

I hope this helps.
