Bertini Falco - New BMW Z3 based Kit Car
Discussion
Things are moving along quite quickly now. There has been a news article in KIT CAR BUILDER magazine in USA and also the first rear moulding has been produced. I expect to start fitting them to the actual car early in January.
Then it's just a boot lid, mini front wings, bonnet light brackets and under skin.

Cheers :-)
The car behind is not a kit. It's actually an Iso Grifo waiting to he restored.
The kit car project looks promising but the car in the background is very nice! It's a Iso Lele as already pointed out, very rare and quite desirable. The Grifo is another Iso model. The car behind is not a kit. It's actually an Iso Grifo waiting to he restored.
I am pretty excited now as the rear moulding is fitted to the back of the actual first Bertini car.
I have a few pictures and a video of the moulding going on.
I am really happy as the door gaps look just as good as the original car.
Here is a link to the video which is on my Bertini GT25 facebook page:

Side profile is awesome - just about perfect in fact.
I'm saying this as an armchair car designer, so i have zero authority. However, I am also saying this as a potential buyer, because with a teeny bit of bodywork change I reckon I could see myself in one of these! I'm not so keen on the front and rear... they are almost right, but the square plae recess needs to be europeanised, and the front needs a teeny little bit more depth to it as it's a little generic at present. Nothing that couldn't be customised with my own car
Top work(manship) - keep it up. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.
where are you based?

Very good point about the washers. I will look into it. Thanks for the input.
I have just got the Bertini polo shirts and caps delivered. I'm really happy with the quality of the embroidery.
I know its only a little thing, but I really like the little details.
I'm looking forward to wearing them at the stoneleigh kitcar show.
