What car was it question

Apologies for being so vague, but it struck me as relatively harmless to ask about a car I saw on Friday in Chiswick. I'm assuming it was a kit car, it looked rather in the style of a Lotus 23 or Brabham BT8 (below) but it was clearly front engined as the bonnet was quite long and the boot short. Great car anyway.

I'm not sure it was any of those but it's good to see them. There's an outside chance it was a replicar though and I do like that. I might have been put off by a race-car like colour scheme with a few stripes that broke up the lines a bit. Thanks everyone.

Given that Stuart was on the BBC's One Show in London last week with the Replicar I reckon it's highly likely that it was the Replicar
