I love this car

I'm building a 500bhp YB westy and know how expensive it is to get these high power 7s right after having 2 blown engines in 2 years. I dread to think how much you have spent Duncan!

I live in a much more modest house- this one was nearby and the photog had arranged for us to stage the SLC there.

Does that break the spell?

AM Sportscars EX2 or Imola.

It was a very capable mid priced kit that should have sold in droves but was too expensive for the budget end and not special enough for the higher end.

The company is working on a redesign to reduce the price and also make it more trackable.

Mine started out as my daily driver.... over 25,000 miles round the M25 plus numerous long trips including Disneyland Paris. Then modded for trackdays but engine (Vauxhall red top on throttle bodies) wasn't powerful/torquey enough for weight and downforce. Long story but now building a Nissan 3 litre V6 with Hewland ex BTCC sequential box. Hoping to have it back on the road and track (including circuit racing) next year.

The can is real nice, it's basically an expansion pipe, no cat etc. I think it's 2.5 inch but I will measure it up for you. It came with the car but I will ask the builder/previous owner where he got it. It also has a brand etc stamped on it so I'll take a look for too you soon as.

The engine is a Suzuki GSX-R1000 K1 or K2 (I forget which off the top of my head) they have a stronger clutch, handy being as it's in car even though it only weighs 460kg wet!

The exit bore is 2.5 inches (looks bigger as the pipe is rolled and flared at the end) and the inlet is standard exhaust pipe size, 2 inches. The branding on the box says "Laser Hotcam" you may find something on it if you Google that, hopefully they will have a 3 inch size you want. Good luck mate
