Here's mine, not really a kit car, as I built everything myself, except the basic body shell. Even that was cut into pieces when I got it and needed major work to make usable.

Hi guys,long time since i been on Pistonheads,used to have a 1983 911 but sold that a few years ago and built myself a DAX DE-DION with 355 performer sbc in,been good fun building it and now has been IVA'd and is ready for the road.....just need some decent weather so hopefully get to a few meets.Cheers.

jonty hi,paint was done by a good friend of mine who runs his own paint shop in the next village,Hemyock down here in Devon,name is Dave of D.B.BODYS,brilliant sprayer who was porsche and mercedes trained so knows his prestige cars.Colour is Mercedes HYACINTH RED METALLIC,looks brilliant in different lights especially in the evening,nice car you have there Jonty and quick too.cheers.

Mate of mine has just ordered his Merc 350e in that colour. Somehow I don't think it will look as good as on your cobra!

Gosh I wish I was still a teenager, what is most telling is that the owner described it correctly and did not mention the word Cobra.

My uncles Dax with a 6.8 Chevy LS. I shot it at a transport festival today. Im biased but I think its stunning with the hours he has put into it.
