My budget sunny day toy. X flow powered. Rebuilt last year and resprayed - all done in my single garage by myself. Had been off the road for about 10 years + when I bought it, luckily dry barn stored and the important bits were in really good condition.

engines these days, and Rover V8 is popular. A few have Chevvy V8's, Fiat Twin Cams, Vauxhall 2ltr etc etc. A friend is rebuilding an Oldsmobile 5.7 small block for his. Buy one! You can pick them up for next to nothing. Even with a little crossflow engine, they put a smile on your face
Crowfield, Dutton Leggera? If so, I was given one - intended to be my first car, after a bit of a refresh.
Unfortunately before I could get it down to where I live, it had to be stored on my uncle's drive in West London. Some tossers tried to steal it, and succeeded in writing it off in a big way. I was gutted.

No, it's a Dutton Phaeton S3. Originally built between 1986 and 1989 and registered in 1989, then changed hands twice Last MOT'd in 1994 with 800 miles showing n the clock. At some point soon after the MOT it was barn stored until I bought it ( for very little money ) 2 years ago. I have stripped and rebuilt everything. New Discs and callipers, brake shoes and cylinders, rebuilt the master cylinder, rear shock absorbers, built and wired a new dashboard ( 3 times!) Engine strip, gearbox swap, suspension bushes etc, etc, then given the body a few coats of good old fashioned cellulose. MOT'd last July , but only driven about 250 miles since. SORN for the winter, it will be taxed again 1st April......hoping to get a few more miles under it's belt this year.Unfortunately before I could get it down to where I live, it had to be stored on my uncle's drive in West London.
