"Road Legal" how's that then? - At a quick glance..... No lights, indicators, and the uncovered wheels could easily inflict fatal damage to a pedestrian, but "hey it looks good so we'll pull every penny out of your bank account by telling these lies" crikey! beyond belief mad

Not good is it. Could not be used OTR in that form. Best avoided I think. And as the Op suggested grossly overpriced. One does wonder how these types make a living?

It would be interesting to see pictures taken in 2003 when it was registered. Is it an extreme example of alteration after registration?

I know of this car. It was registered looking pretty much as it does now, but with lights & mudguards, other than that don't think much has changed. TTBOMK there is no requirement to have lights on a car if used in daylight (daylight MoT) other than, IIRC brake lights. With regard to the open wheels, I think you'll find that is only a construction & use requirement IF the road is wet/it is raining - tho' personally wouldn't fancy taking a car out any distance guessing it's not going to rain! (or without lights for that matter)

From what I've been told about the car in the past I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, & the price is laughable. It has an Alfa 1.7 flat four in the back (standard tune I believe) so not exactly quick, but that is probably merciful as I was told it handles like a bucket of pooh! All hearsay you understand - I have no personal experience of the car - but some of the comments about "couldn't be road legal" etc. are just plain wrong - it's not road legal as is, but could be made so very easily. I believe it was correctly tested & registered before going on the road.

If they can sell that at anything like that price I'd better take them a few Furores to sell! biggrin

Interesting to hear the story in some detail.

The car is seriously overpriced IMO as Russ Boost suggests. But we do now have a fuller picture of the history. Personally it would not appeal to me.
