I placed my order with Tornado in May and delivery is set for around November. I was very impressed with the welcome that I received when I went to see Andy and his approach to the production of his products.

Excellent, congratulations, best get a build thread going wink I have one on Gt40s.com but everyone knows the best threads are on Piston Heads....
There's a post on here tonight about a un-1 maybe for sale, just check it's the -13 box then good to go, I can give you Chris Cole's number who is the un-1 guru and works wonders with these boxes.

That doesen't sound too bad. for reference we (us and the fiber glassers) were expecting the body to take 1 week to lay up, which i think would be good going, I think it has been taking around 1 month per body as they are quiet tricky and we have been fitting it in around there other work and clients and material availability.....buff grey prim-able gel-coat.....

gel coat mold, let that go off (say 1 day)
lay up part, a rear clip is going to be a 2 person job and take at least an arvo maybe longer.

if its a multi skinned part you are going to be up for another day as you need to allow the two parts to set then come back the following day and glue the inner into the outer before it gets released from the mold so the mold can hold it in alignment. so at a minimum the Doors and the roof panels are going to take at least 3 days. I still have to glue in the rear clip bulkhead and am waiting until I have a chassis available to sit the body on so that i can insure i dont put a twist in it. Tornado should have all this under control given how long they have been going. It just goes to highlight that there is a certain order in which things have to happen and it all takes time.

I haven't even begun to trim and remove the flash lines on my body yet and would imagine there is a bit in that as well
