It's this coming weekend, the main event for our scene. STONELEIGH, Sunday/Monday. Lots going on, new launches etc.
I will be showing my Exopod for the first time along with other exhibits, but I wont go into detail in case I get done for advertising.
Looking forward to this show, see you guys there I hope?

Hi,

If anyone is thinking of going to the CKC seminars over the show weekend mine (at 2.00pm) is not about Electronic Ignition as erroneously published in CKC. It is about my conversion of my UVA (Beetle engine) from carbs and distributor to full EFI. A much more interesting topic altogether, honest.

I was intending to go in the kit car but weather looks awful and it's a bloody long way in the wet
Will probably wimp out and use a tin top
I have tickets for Johns talk and a set of GSXR throttle bodies on a Pjnto manifold

Don't be a wimp, the forecast's not too bad for Sun and Mon, "12 degrees and a couple of showers". I'm sure a big roughty tufty kitcar driver can cope with that?

Please consider taking a hat and coat in case of inclement weather. The alternative is to wait 12 months and look at the weather forecast for the next kit car show which is 2017. wink

Good to see there are a fair number of kit car enthusiasts going to Stoneliegh. Let's hope that the English weather is not too dire. I do look forward to seeing the lattest offerings from Stuart Mlls and MEV which is alwas fun and I trust that there will be a few new kit cars to look at around Stoneliegh? Really looking forward to this yers offerings. See you there; Steffan!

I'm hoping to get the UVA there again but the weather forecast is, though constantly changing, fairly dire and it's a 400 mile round trip.

I'll leave the decision as late as I can on Saturday.

I'll be there on Monday. Going in the tin top though as my kit has no MOT and it's going on the rolling road on Tuesday. If I can get it sorted by then of course. I could be tempted with a nice shiny set of carbon CSR wings if I can find some there!hehe

I will be going and hopefully putting down a deposit on an Exocet kit. That is unless MEV have something new that appeals more.

Monday is looking the better day weatherwise so far.
