It is, I still wouldn't want it, but that's how it's done... if you want to...a much better & closer base to begin with and looks nicely executed.

They've used an excellent base for it. Now instead of having to think about Aston running costs you only have to think about Supercharged XK running costs...which are probably broadly similar.
