I recall back in 2004 going to Capesthorne Hall nr Macclesfield, Cheshire for a classic show car. There were quite alot of replicas and kit cars there; lots of Robin Hoods, Dax Rush, Tiger Cats, etc, as well as replica kits of the Jaguar Xk120/140 (Aristocrat), Challenger E Type, Porsche speedster, etc. I've heard this particular show has never been held since and only with regards to originals and classics. Anyone know why that is?. It's a pity there just isnt that many kit car shows around, particularly in the North West.

I've been to the classic car shows there and been directed into the display area in my Fury.

There used to be a dedicated kit car show at Capesthorne Hall, but no longer.

Most classic car shows welcome kit cars these days. We (Complete Kit Car) attend three of Gemini Events' shows and have free passes for kit car owners to join us. The closest one to Macclesfield is at Weston Park on Easter Monday.
