auction was ended and re-advertized with lowered starting-price:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Jaguar-Oldtimer-Rennwagen-L...

the seller says "it was built by lister"

Body front seems Kougar (with K not with C). rest of body not.

There was a kit car based on Jaguar bits called a Kougar.
Google images and you'll find a few examples.

That post above... err....

i have already posted that above and mentioned that "only" the front matches with a Kougar, but not the sides, nor the back.

Said to be based on an E-Type which had torsion bar front suspension but the front end looks very similar to the Kougar which was based on the XJ6 I think.
I can't think which 1970s racing series it would have been built for and €24000 seems steep for a very basic unfinished rolling chassis of unknown provenance with an old V12 engine and gearbox.

And they were built in the small Sussex town where I currently live. The "factory building" is still there.

i agree...the price is very steep....somebody wants to make profit, searching a fool.

maybe purchased this fragments for 25% of the actual advert price...or even less....
