Thats a very nice offer and one I may well take you up on as I am seriously laking in the ability to doodle like you can.
Here is the latest iteration of the rear end.

Looks great, IMO it would look better if the grill was black.
Anyway, keep up the good work - its going to be a monster!

I need to vent the rear, but just can't seem to decide how it will look.
The trouble with these mock ups is they look so flat, so I am going to make this rear over the weekend and mount my lights and then play with the grill etc.

Then I think you have to google a lot special cars with a rear engine and backend vents? cars like Ginetta G12 and some other older classic racers? many have different shapes then reshape it and translate it to your car?

I spend ages on my mock ups and you knock something together minutes that's miles better with depth an all.... I can see where you are going and I really like it.
originally i wanted the exhaust in the middle of the car more, however the chassis come out to the spoiler mounts (they attach to the chassis) so I had to move them out and unless they were under the lights (or twin) they just didn't look right.
I have to fabricate my own exhaust including the manifolds anyhow so I guess custom silencers won't be too big an issue.

LOL 15 years using software tends to speed you up a tad with it.
I've saved a semi-layered version so if you want to see something modded / moved / added let me know, maybe with a rough idea sketched on top. I'm not around very much at the mo (still trying to finish the house renovation so I can build my workshop to start on mine!) but will try to get to any request soon as!
I wasn't sure from the angle of that photo what's happening with the engine cover so couldn't draft in a smooth join or vent there.

That last one looks nice too sure I will miss the other nice engine vents, but this lower vent are nice too! maybe move the numberplate on this one higher on the non venting part that way also windflow does not get disturbed...?
it comes close to the endresult, always good to have some people around who can play with the computer programs

Andy, How about lowering the numberplate and incorporating it into a diffuser of some sort. Alternatively you can raise it onto the flat area as already suggested. The numberplate is always a challenge to a designer - but unfortunately neccessary.
I've sent you an email to illustrate (my web space is on the blink)

I really like Davi's one above.... I think I'm going to try putting the rear vent where he has rather than the larger version I did.
Personelly I like the exhaust were they are (I guess thats why I put the there), I might lower them an inch or two.... If I put them lower and in the diffuser it may interupt the air flow and considering the speeds It will be capable of I want to minimise the amount of compromises I make in that respect.

Agree, I like Davi's design too when you lower the exhaust a bit and maybe straighten that line under the rearlights? then lower the exhaust by that amount?(that inch or 2)
It realy looks cool and different...do it
