Cobra Replica: which one?
Discussion
Is it just me or does the gardner Douglas Cobra not look like a proper Cobra??
For me the type of chassis and running gear means that the wheels don't have the correct back/forset and as such it makes it look like a cheapo pilgrim type kit?
i wonder how many people have not bought a gardner douglas for this reason. It just doesn't look right to me.
Neil.

Agree completely. It seems to me GD market themselves as Cobra looks with better handling. The ideal to some people perhaps, but to me if you want Cobra looks, get one that looks authentic. If you want want outstanding handling build an Ultima or something of that ilk. Part of the character of the original Cobra was that the handling was a bit hairy. All IMHO.
